I really love the visual style you have here and it's really freaky during the chase.

(+1)

hOW DID YOU ACHIEVE THIS ARTSTYLE

THIS IS REALLY UNIQUE I THINK

(+1)

The impressive visuals had me completely absorbed in the world in front of me. I have absolutely no idea what the story is about or the lore concerning the monster that lurks underground but I had fun nonetheless! Great monster sound effects, too! So eerily realistic sounding...

Gameplay begins @ 08:00

Please add a check point to the first enemy you face below the house. The graphics are so grainy that I ran into it and died by accident. I am not finishing the game since I don't wan't waste my time, however great job! The overall vibe is great.

can someone give me the name for a game where you need to find someone and you only have ur phone?

pissed my pants

This game gave me the best feeling of someone running towards me and screaming at the same time. I t gave me goosebumps. I would have liked it to be longer but its still awesome.

(+1)

Why did I walk back into the house!!!!!
(+1)

This game was a trip. Wish there had been more substance for sure, but I really dug the art style. It's short and pretty generic for an indie horror game, but sometimes you just want something that feels classic and kind of nostalgic. Would love some more notes we can find and read to establish the "lore" about deepdoors. Also maybe make the maze more challenging to survive?

thanks for the inputs and your video is great!

The version you played is an older one, I made some changes but nothing major. I could make the maze more challenging maze and add some notes, something I wanted in the first place but the gamejam deadline was too close (which I missed anyway).

There is a link in the description above that sheds some light on the lore I had in mind if you’re interested but that may require some context about the movies that it was inspired by.

oh i’d definitely like to dive deeper into the story! what movies inspired it??

&& awesome! well if/when you make any updates i’d love to run it again some day

mainly being john malkovich but also the silence of the lambs. You can read about it here: https://twitter.com/Aspyxia4/status/1435511867829522435

Such a cool concept. Definitely want more of your ideas and story inside the game 🙏🏻

I need to check out john malkovich I heard it’s trippy

Ótimos gráficos e uma bela imersão, parabéns ao criador!

Vídeo programado para o dia 22/09.

I really liked the graphics and how things were laid out, specially in the house. Felt weirdly natural.

I also feel ashamed to report that I got small goosebumps with the jumpscare at the house.

Overall great game, can't wait to see more!

Really good game. 7/10. I vibe with the graphics.

(+1)

Short but definitely had it's moments!

Thanks for making games!

I honestly have no idea what that monster was I ran in the opposite direction and never looked back! (Game starts at 7:44 in the video)

(+1)

lol had to reupload. The ending of this game is intense af. Great stuff. wish it was longer but i had fun. Check me out and let me know what you think.

(+1)

For a short experience I was really invested, the tone and visability is perfect 🙂

(+1)

there's nothing scarier than getting ur ass chased by a pixelated balloony creature name ted :v

(+1)

This was a fun and scary game!  Played this as a part of my 3 scary games video!  The game starts at 8:30.

(+1)

/edit Lol i had no idea you had to run away and exit out the pooper but i had fun regardless. Check me out and let me know what you think. Thank you.

This was...well it scared the crap out of me! Wish there was more to know as questions were left unanswered. Overall it was good, but the tunnel sequence was really oversaturated and hurt the eyes

PRETTY INTERESTING I CAN SAY FOR SURE THAT IT WAS SPECTACULAR!

(+1)

This was super unsettling and creepy! The environment at the end had me scared out of my mind! Great work!
(+1)

Thanks for the experience! I loved the thrill of the final chase, and I thought the cabin off the side of the road setting was a good way of building suspense to the player. As a fan of The Silence of the Lambs, I appreciate the homage you paid to it! My biggest wish after the game is that I understood a little bit more of what the story and the protagonist, but either way it was an enjoyable game!
(+1)

This game for real scared me towards the end! (2nd Game)
(+1)

This game got me really good in the final chase scene. I was seriously on edge and genuinely freaked out. The sound design in this game is phenomenal. Great work! (First game in the vid)

Fun little experience. Good work. Here’s my play through. \m/ https://youtu.be/mmXXnJJkcjg

I like these sorta innocent locations with hidden depths so the buildup was fun but didn't rate the payoff. I also ran into a bunch of bugs, I played through again after and going back into the house is definitely the scariest

Gameplay if you're interested:

I was getting into it, ended pretty quick , nice work

It was short, pretty cool overall. The monster got me the first time.

This is a pretty decent little game! : )
The visual effects are nice, if a bit overwhelming in the darker portions of the game but thankfully its not distracting. It has some minor flaws to it but for what it is it's well made, the only big issue I had was the monster chase sequence, the monster itself doesn't spawn immediately when the screen says "RUN" which confused me and led me to dying and being confused the first time the monster showed up. It might be better to have some visual indicators as to where the monster is going to be prior to the sequence, but I'm also stupid and it seems everyone else didn't have an issue with it haha

I would also like to compliment your use of free assets, I recognized those stairs after you enter the secret entrance in the house, in my opinion this is a very tasteful way of using said assets and it fit with the game style. I see a lot of devs using free assets in rather untasteful ways so its nice to have a change of pace lol

All in all great project, looking forward to see what else you put out : )

Made a video

(+1)

hi, big thx for the game. greetings from rosti 😁

(+1)

This game was super short, but the first time the damn glowing monster came out...

(+1)

This game had some of the best ambiance of any indie horror game I've played as of recent! The screams sounded almost too real when I got down there XD Sorry I forgot to leave a spoken review at the end of video, but this game was nice and short! Keep up the good work my man!
